Ford India has launched its first-ever ‘Quick Lane’ service centre in India at Metro Ford in Yeshwantpur, Bangalore, aimed at offering speedy service for customers who are short on time.
The Quick Lane service centres will tackle routine service, maintenance and light repairs, including basics like oil and filter changes, brake systems, tyres, suspension and exhaust system checks, and tune-ups.
The Bangalore facility can service up to 35 cars a day. It will stay open longer than the usual workshop hours and promises ‘While you wait’ service. Customers need not make an appointment and there’s a wifi-equipped lounge where they can wait till the work is complete.
The company says the Quick Lane centres are part of an initiative geared at improving customer experience, in line with its plan to launch eight new products in India by the middle of the decade.
“We're taking customer service to the next level, and the new Quick Lane service centre is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance customer service experience with trust, speed and transparency," said PK Umashankar, vice president, customer service operations, Ford India.
