Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has just launched a new commuter motorcycle called the Livo. The motorcycle is designed in a way not seen before in India, and is available in four colours — blue, white, brown and black. The Livo is powered by a 110cc, 4-stroke engine that makes 9bhp. The vehicle also gets Honda Eco Tech (HET) to improve efficiency.
Keita Muramatsu, President and CEO, and Y.S. Guleria, Senior Vice President — Sales and Marketing, HMSI were present at the launch. The company has developed the Livo, keeping in mind the Indian two-wheeler market that draws in young customers who look for stylish and economical products.
The new Livo is available in two variants — a self-start equipped, drum brake and alloy wheel version that costs Rs 52,989, and the version equipped with a disc brake that costs Rs 55,489 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
How the motorcycle fares will be known once we take the it to the road.
