Rolls-Royce ‘Serenity’ set for Geneva debut

Rolls-Royce’s all new Phantom based ‘Serenity’ concept car will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on March 3. The company’s bespoke design team has taken inspiration from contemporary interpretations of European furniture, combined with Japanese Royal Kimono designs.

"Serenity will reintroduce the finest of textiles to create the most opulent interior of any luxury car," the company revealed in a statement. "This unique design demonstrates the levels of craftsmanship, creativity and attention to detail, only Rolls-Royce Motor Cars can offer."

The one-off car will feature a bespoke silk-inspired interior. Rolls-Royce says that the concept celebrates "the historical role played by silk as a symbol of regal and imperial power".
