Suzuki Motorcycle India’s intentions to make its presence strongly felt in the Indian market can be seen with the announcement of two new models close on the heels of the recently launched Inazuma in the 250cc segment – the Gixxer and the Let's.

The Gixxer draws contemporary styling cues for its sharp and aggressive looks. The new bike will be available in five colours. It packs in an all-new carburettor-fed, four-stroke, 150cc, single-cylinder and air-cooled engine. The Gixxer also comes with a new chassis, complemented by telescopic suspension upfront, with a monoshock at the rear. Six-spoke alloys are standard, with a 100/80 x 17 inch tubeless tyre and disc brake in front, along with a 140/60 x 17 inch tubeless tyre with drum brake at rear. Detailed specs of the Gixxer are to be revealed at the upcoming Auto Expo.

The Let's scooter is designed for the young and is available in five colours options, red, blue, white, black and silver. The new scooter is powered by a four-stroke, 112.8cc, single-cylinder and air-cooled engine that produces 8.7bhp, with 0.91kgm of torque propelling the rear wheel through a CVT gearbox. The front gets telescopic forks for suspension, while the Let’s uses a monoshock at rear. Drum brakes with 90/100 x 10 inch tubeless tyres are standard front and rear. The Let’s comes with a 5.2 litre fuel tank.

Both models come with 'Suzuki Eco Performance' systems the company claims helps them achieve enhanced fuel economy, without compromising power. The Let’s' pricing will be announced at the Auto Expo 2014 in Delhi and it goes on sale shortly thereafter. The Gixxer's price will be announced in May, and the bike will go on sale in July 2014.
