    Ather 450X to launch in six cities on November 7

    Ather will launch its 450X in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Pune on November 7.

    • Deliveries are expected to begin by the end of November

    • The 450X is one of the most powerful electric scooters on sale in India

    • Fast charging station to be set up at select locations

    Ather Energy has revealed that it will introduce its 450X in six markets on November 7. This list includes new cities like Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Pune.

    The expansion doesn’t come as a surprise because the electric scooter company has been speaking of its plan from quite a while. Last month, the company even revealed its dealer partners in the aforementioned cities. 

    Ather Energy has collaborated with Kataria Group in Ahmedabad, Kamal Motors in Mumbai and BU Bhandari in Pune. The company has also said that test rides will be hosted at convenient locations across the cities, prior to the official experience outlets opening later in the year.

    In terms of charging infrastructure, the Ather Grid,the company will set up fast charging in all of the cities, with each likely to get about 10-15 Ather Grid points before delivery of the smart EVs. Some of the confirmed location for Pune are Kalyan Bhel, Little Italy, Kalinga Restaurant, Copacabana, Bliss Bakery Cafe, Hotel KBs Woodland and Eat & Repeat café. While for Mumbai, its Little Italy restaurants and Ahmedabad’s locations include Sangeetha Mobiles, Little Italy and Royal Orchid.

    Ather’s expansion plans also include having over 150 charging stations by December 2020. The company is also working towards entering a total of 11 cities by December.
