Owning the BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase has been an incredible experience. From the moment I got behind the wheel, it felt like stepping into a world of unmatched refinement. The extra rear legroom is a game-changer—whether I’m driving or sitting in the back, the space and comfort are top-notch. The 2.0L turbocharged engine is smooth and delivers more than enough power for both city and highway driving. The handling strikes the perfect balance between sporty and comfortable, making every drive a pleasure. The cabin is loaded with tech, from the intuitive iDrive system to the ambient lighting, which adds a touch of class. What I love most is how quiet and composed the car feels, even at high speeds. It’s perfect for long journeys, but equally enjoyable for daily drives. If there’s one downside, it’s the fuel efficiency—it’s not bad, but the performance it offers makes it hard to drive conservatively. Overall, the 5 Series LWB is a fantastic blend of luxury, practicality, and driving pleasure. It’s a car that makes every trip feel special.

The boot space is surprisingly generous for a compact SUV, and the overall build quality gives me confidence in its durability. Fuel efficiency has been decent for a luxury SUV, averaging around 12-13 km/l, which is acceptable considering the performance it delivers. The ride quality is smooth, and the suspension does a great job of absorbing bumps without sacrificing comfort. The only downside I’d mention is that the rear seats might feel a little snug for taller passengers on longer journeys. However, for me, the BMW X1 checks all the boxes when it comes to style, performance, and practicality, making it a great choice in its segment.
