The Superb is classy and scores high on quality and functionality on the inside too but the highlight has got to be the exceptional rear seat space. It’s a place to stretch out after a tough day at the office. And you’ll be able to pack in a lot of luggage in the 625-litre boot on weekend getaways too.
The Superb’s 190hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine is, well, superb. The engine is refined and gratifyingly quick and the 7-speed dual-clutch auto gearbox adds to the experience. Ride comfort on the Superb is excellent with impressive bump absorption being a highlight. The price of Rs 54 lakh, ex showroom, however, has robbed it of its previously famous value proposition, and limited to just 100 imported units, only serious Superb fans need apply.
