I've owned a Honda City for 13 years and I'm looking for a replacement in the Rs 15 lakh-20 lakh price bracket. It has to be a sedan with a manual gearbox, but this time I want to look outside the Honda brand.

Autocar India says: The new Honda City will provide a familiar drive experience (to your current car), good fuel efficiency and segment-best seat comfort. But since you want other options, you can consider the Hyundai Verna with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and 6-speed manual transmission. The engine is refined and deceivingly quick, the clutch and gearbox are buttery smooth to operate, and it rides and handles rather well too. What's more, it is loaded with features like ADAS and feels modern on the inside. And while it might not feel as sporty to drive as the 1.5 TSI MT versions of the VW Virtus and Skoda Slavia, the Hyundai is relatively more affordable, and hence, spells better value for money too.
