I currently own a Skoda Rapid, which I’ve had for 10 years. I am planning to upgrade and go for the Scorpio-N, but I am confused between the diesel and petrol variants. Which engine would be great to drive and have similar levels of power and stability as the Rapid?

Autocar India says: Both engines in the new Scorpio-N are very good, and, in fact, are one of its main strengths. While the diesel develops a healthy 175hp, the petrol makes an even higher 203hp. The diesel has a lot of torque and is great for long-distance cruising. However, if you want a sportier, more fun-to-drive experience, it’s the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol auto you should go for.
It is much faster than the diesel and you can hit some really serious speeds, but bear in mind that it’s a gas guzzler in comparison. Overall, the Scorpio is a great choice.
