Could you suggest a practical SUV for our country that is reliable for a lifetime and between Rs 60 lakh-80 lakh.

Autocar India says: For your budget, you could get a German luxury SUV like a BMW X3, the new Audi Q5, and, if you wait for six months, the new Mercedes-Benz GLC. Even the Volvo XC60 fits in your budget. However, these European cars, which are highly sophisticated and packed with gizmos, do not have the same reputation of reliability as a Toyota. The closest Toyota equivalent is the Fortuner, which is quite crude and basic in comparison to the Europeans and doesn’t come close to offering the same level of luxury. However, Fortuners are known to last a lifetime and are very reliable.
