If you are going to use it largely in the city, it would be best to opt for the diesel-automatic versions.

I want to buy an SUV, but I am confused between the Kia Seltos, MG Hector and Tata Harrier. Is there any other option as my daily running is 50km and I want to buy any turbo automatic?

Autocar India says: Given your running, it makes sense to go for a turbo diesel, which is far more fuel efficient than a turbo petrol. The Hector’s 2.0-litre diesel is good, but doesn’t have an automatic option. The Harrier has the same diesel engine as the Hector and gets a nice 6-speed automatic transmission so this could be one option if you are driving on the highway regularly. However, if you are driving in the city, the Seltos 1.5 diesel is a good choice as it is the right size for urban conditions. The engine is smooth, reasonably powerful for city duties and efficient too. The other option to consider is the Creta 1.5 diesel which is very similar to the Seltos in what it offers.
