I was planning to buy a new 160cc bike and I was considering either the Pulsar N160 or the Apache RTR 160 4V, although I found the TVS to be more appealing for its higher performance and more features. But now the new Xtreme 160R has confused me. Should I buy this instead?

Autocar India says: We have only had a brief ride on the new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, but the bike looks quite promising and it is easily up there with the best bikes in the segment. We still need to test it properly to see if it can match Hero’s claim of being the fastest bike in the class, as well as checking its fuel efficiency.

However, it has already proven to be a good handler while also having good comfort. The bike also looks good and it is surprisingly large and muscular for a 160cc motorcycle. If you can wait, we suggest doing so until we get a chance to do a proper comparison review, because the new Xtreme is now equipped to put up a strong fight.
