    Baleno vs Glanza

    Personal preference

I am really confused about which car to go in for between the newly launched Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Toyota Glanza. Can you please help?

Both products are essentially one and the same, but marketed by different manufacturers. So choosing between the two can be confusing. However, you can narrow your choice down to one of three things: 1) Looks. This is very subjective, but looks are often the one thing that makes or breaks a deal. The Baleno is a familiar face and looks similar to the previous model, whilst the Glanza looks new and more of a Corolla; 2) The warranty on the Glanza, which can be extended to five years and 2,20,00km, is better than on the Baleno (five years and 1,00,000km); 3) Brand. Toyotas generally have a higher brand value and perception than a Maruti Suzuki, which could weigh in your favour; 4) Both companies offer good aftersales service, and although Maruti Suzuki is more widespread, Toyota has a reputation for its service quality. Keeping these in mind, one would lean towards the Glanza, but finally, it’s your preference as you can’t go wrong with either.
