EDGING AHEAD

I have shortlisted the new Skoda Kushaq and have a budget of Rs 10 lakh-12 lakh. My driving needs include a daily commute of 20km to the office and a monthly 500km trip to my hometown. I am looking for a petrol-manual that can seat four people, is safe, fun to drive, reliable and has a modern interior. I am confused between the Kia Sonet and the Kushaq.

The Kushaq is the one that fits most of your requirements and is a better choice than the Sonet overall. Apart from its plusher interior, the Sonet can’t match the Kushaq for driving pleasure and the latter is more spacious and solidly built too.
