Which are the best electric scooters in India?

    Anand Vaid, New Delhi

Autocar India says: We recommend picking an electric scooter from the likes of Ather, Bajaj, Hero and TVS. Ather’s products tend to be the most feature packed and offer strong performance although the 450 platform is quite sporty in nature and makes some sacrifices in comfort.

Both the Bajaj Chetak and the TVS iQube have recently been launched in new variants and both products are comfortable and practical. The new TVS iQube with the smaller 2.2kWh battery is priced well and worth considering if you have a daily running of 40km or less.

The Hero Vida, meanwhile, strikes a good balance of comfort and performance and it is the only one here that offers removable batteries.

We recommend you take test rides of the above mentioned scooters to decide which best meets your needs.
