As summer begins and temperatures soar across the country, having ventilated seats in your hatchback, sedan, MPV, or SUV can be an advantage in staying cool. 10 years ago, this feature was quite rare in mass-market segments, with buyers needing to spend around the Rs 30 lakh mark to get it. Today, however, there are plenty of sub-four-metre hatchbacks, SUVs, and even an MPV available with ventilated seats, all priced under Rs 15 lakh. So, without further digression, here are the 10 most affordable cars on sale in India with ventilated seats.
The Tata Curvv is among the most affordable cars in India with ventilated seats, sporting the feature on the front seats from the higher-spec Accomplished S variant onwards. The Rs 14.87 lakh price tag also makes Tata’s rival to the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate the most affordable midsize SUV with cooled seats. The coupe-SUV is available with three engine options: a 120hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol; a 125hp, 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol; and a 118hp, 1.5-litre diesel, all of which have 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch auto gearbox options.
