What are you driving currently and why?

On the weekends, I drive a Chevrolet Caprice and a Lincoln Continental for the ultimate American nostalgia they provide. On weekdays, I drive a Mercedes-Benz GLS 350d for its practicality, comfort and road presence.

What’s next on your wish list?

A Mercedes-AMG E 63 S.

What’s the most fun you’ve had in a car?

Drifting on a frozen lake at the AMG Driving Academy in Sweden. Back in the day, I also really enjoyed rallying in the Maruti Esteem.

What’s your dream ‘money no object’ car?

The ultra-rare Rolls-Royce Sweptail.

Who is your all-time greatest motorsport hero?

It’s hard to pick one, but it would be Ayrton Senna.

Which is your favourite road?

In India, it’s the roads around the Nubra Valley in Ladakh.

What’s on your automotive bucket list?

To take part in all the AMG Driving Academy experiences around the world.

What would you do with your last litre of fuel?

Jump into my Dodge Convertible with my wife and daughter and enjoy till it lasts.

What would your ideal five-car garage be?

Mercedes-AMG E 63 S, Cadillac Escalade, BMW M3 (E46), Mercedes-Benz 600 (W100), Subaru Impreza WRX STi.

What was your first car?

A 1959 Fiat.
