Honda has launched the City facelift in India, with prices starting from Rs 11.49 lakh and going up to Rs 20.39 lakh for the top-spec City Hybrid. The City now gets minor cosmetic tweaks overall as part of the facelift, but gets more features, new entry-level trims and ADAS safety tech as well. We take a closer look at what features are being offered with each trim of the City facelift.
The City facelift is available in four trims – SV, V, VX, and ZX. The 121hp, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is being offered on all trims. The newly introduced SV trim comes only with a manual transmission, while the V, VX and ZX trims get a CVT gearbox as an option. Meanwhile, the strong-hybrid powertrain, which was previously available only on the top-spec ZX trim, can now be had on the V trim of the City as well.
Here’s a close look at the equipment list of the City facelift:

The Honda City facelift competes against other midsize sedans like the Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and the Hyundai Verna. Hyundai is gearing up to launch the all-new Verna on March 21, which will feature radical new looks and get two petrol powertrain options. While not a model change or even a major facelift, Maruti Suzuki recently updated the Ciaz with more features and additional paint shade options in a bid to keep it fresh amidst the competition.
