Kia India launched the Seltos facelift with its prices starting at Rs 10.90 lakh and going all the way up to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). Just like the outgoing model, the facelifted Seltos will be offered in three trim lines – Tech Line, GT Line and X-Line. While the GT Line and X-Line get one trim each, the Tech Line is further split into HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX and HTX+. Let’s take a closer look at what is offered on each trim.
The Seltos facelift gets three engine options and as many as five engine-gearbox combinations. Like the pre-facelift model, it continues with a 115hp, 144Nm, 1.5-litre petrol engine that is mated to a 6-speed manual or a CVT. It also gets a 116hp, 250Nm, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine that is paired to a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The 1.5-litre petrol manual powertrain is only available on the HTE, HTK, HTK+ and HTX trims, while the 1.5-litre petrol CVT powertrain is solely available on the HTX trim. The 1.5-litre turbo-diesel manual powertrain is available on the entire range of Tech Line trims, while with the automatic gearbox, the turbo-diesel is available on the HTX, GTX+ and X-Line trims.
Earlier, Kia only offered the turbo-petrol engine on the GT Line and X-Line trims. However, this time around, Kia has added the turbo-petrol engine to the Tech Line trims as well.
