As for gearbox options, a 6-speed manual is available with both. However, the petrol has a 7-speed dual-clutch auto option from the lower-spec HTK+ trim, while the diesel has a 6-speed torque convertor automatic option from the higher-spec HTX+ trim.
All variants of the Syros get eight monotone colour options, including a new one called Frost Blue. All variants of the Kia Syros come with standard safety features like six airbags, ESC and vehicle stability management. With the new car, Kia aims to offer new features along with a spacious interior in the sub-four metre SUV segment. Considering the list of features and engine options available, the Kia Syros is well-equipped to rival the Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and the new Skoda Kylaq.
