Mahindra launched the Thar Roxx in India this Independence Day, starting at an introductory price of Rs 12.99 lakh. The higher and mid-level variants are available in seven colours, while the entry-level variants come in three. Here’s a list of all the available colour options for the Thar Roxx.
The AX3L, MX5, AX5L, and AX7L variants come in all seven colours: Stealth Black, Deep Forest, Burnt Sienna, Nebula Blue, Tango Red, Battleship Grey, and Everest White. The entry-level MX3 variant is limited to Stealth Black, Tango Red, and Everest White.

All variants get a black roof as standard, creating a dual-tone effect. Unlike the Thar 3-door, even the grille on the Thar Roxx is finished in body colour. The rear quarter panel extends to the top of the rear door, and while it gets camouflaged on the black colour option, it is visible in lighter shades. Inside, the Thar Roxx gets a dual-tone black-and-beige theme to further instill the sense of spaciousness.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx petrol starts at Rs 12.99 lakh, while the diesel version begins at Rs 13.99 lakh. You can read more about the Thar Roxx’s variant-wise pricing and features here. Do note that Mahindra has only announced the prices of the 4x2 variants of the SUV. It will reveal the cost of the 4x4 variants later.
The Thar Roxx competes with lifestyle SUVs such as the Maruti Jimny and Force Gurkha 5-door. It also serves as an alternative to monocoque midsize SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara among others.
