Toyota has revealed its latest MPV, the Rumion, in India, which is essentially a rebadged
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga that will be sold as a Toyota. The company has stated that prices and booking details will be revealed at a later stage. The Rumion is available in three variants and we break it down for you.

Toyota is offering the Rumion with petrol and CNG powertrains. In petrol mode, the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine produces 103hp and 137Nm, which is down to 88hp and 121.5Nm when running on CNG. This Toyota MPV comes with two gearbox options – a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter. The Rumion will be offered in three trims – S, G and V – with the manual gearbox being standard across the range, while the automatic will be offered on the base G and top-spec V trims. The factory-fitted CNG kit will be offered only on the base-spec G trim.
