WILLYS JEEP MB - The machine that the whole Jeep range grew out of: a Willys-Overland MB from 1944. JEEP SHORTCUT - This concept is based on the Wrangler; it comes with a 3.6-litre V6 engine. 379 PETERBILT - Even customised big rig trucks like this 1995 Peterbilt Rock Bottom were at SEMA. ACURA NSX DREAM PROJECT - Tuning firm Science Of Speed developed its version of the ultimate NSX with 610hp and 687Nm of torque. HYUNDAI IONIQ HYPERECONIQ - This modified Ioniq Hypereconiq, developed by Bismoto Engineering, was tweaked for efficiency rather than show or go. CHEVROLET CAMARO XL1 THE EXORCIST - Developed by Hennessey, the Exorcist is a Camaro XL1 kit featuring engine modifications that boost power from 650hp to over 1000hp. CHEVROLET CAMARO 2SS - This Camaro was covered with labels highlighting all the optional accessories and performance parts fitted to it. CHEVROLET HIGH COUNTRY - This Chevrolet entered the unofficial SEMA competition to see how much you could pack onto a pick-up truck. CHEVROLET CAMARO HOT WHEELS EDITION - To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first Camero 1:64 Hot Wheels model, Chevrolet brought two special edition cars to SEMA. HONDA CIVIC TYPE R RED CARBON KIT - Honda used SEMA to launch a new Red Carbon Kit styling pack for the Civic Type R. MCLAREN MP4-12C - This 2014 MP4-12C was customised just in time for SEMA – albeit without the full planned bodywork – by Deity Motorsports. GARIA GOLF ROADSTER - Garia developed this Roadster as a sporting version of its standard golf cart. GRAVE DIGGER - This was one of two versions of Grave Digger monster truck, which competes in the Monster Jam series. FORD ESCORT COSWORTH - This 1991 Ford Escort Cosworth is featured in Ken Block's upcoming Gymkhana 10 stunt video. HONDA FIT HFP - The Honda Fit (Jazz in India) has been upgraded with a new Honda Factory Performance (HFP) kit. DIVCO MODEL 13 - Founded in 1926 and closing in 1986, DIVCO – the Detroit Vehicle Company – made a range of delivery trucks, including this 1954 Model 13. HYUNDAI IONIQ ELECTRIC USCA - This Ioniq EV was developed by Hyundai engineers in America to compete in the Ultimate Street Car Association’s (USCA) Optima Street Car Challenge. MOPAR JEEP WRANGLER PARTS - Mopar used SEMA to showcase the range of performance parts it will offer for the forthcoming new Jeep Wrangler; there are more than 200 pieces at launch. LEXUS BLACK PANTHER-INSPIRED LC - Lexus had a pair of cars which featured a tie-in with the new Marvel film Black Panther. This LC was the less subtle of the two. OLD SMOKEY F1 - A 1949 Ford F1 bought by Scott Birdsall, his Chuckles Garage firm didn’t change the bodyshell but plonked a 1233hp, 5.7-litre, 12-valve diesel engine. P32 STREET FIGHTER - Inspired by American fighter planes of the Second World War, this Foose Design-created roadster is powered by a V12 Lincoln Zephyr motor. PLYMOUTH AIR-RADICAL PICK-UP - Colorado Auto and Parts owner Gary Corns took this 1939 pick-up truck and stuck an air-radial engine from a 1950s seaplane in it. PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA FOUR-DOOR - This looks like an authentic 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, apart from the four door layout. It was built from scratch by ECS Automotive Concepts. PPG STAND - PPG Paints got into the Halloween spirit with ‘The Boneyard’. Even the sample paint displays were done in the shape of bats. TOYOTA CAMRY - Well, sort of. The Toyota stand displayed the 2018 Camry’s form with this interesting, colour-changing light display. TOYOTA C-HR R-TUNED - Toyota trotted out a performance version of its C-HR SUV with 600hp 2.4-litre Toyota 2AE-FE turbocharged engine. VOLKSWAGEN RABBIT GTI - The Mk1 Golf GTI was sold in the USA as the Volkswagen Rabbit GTI. MINI COOPER - This Mini Cooper with 80,000 crystals on the roof was developed by West Coast Customs. ROLLS-ROYCE 25/30 - Based on a 1937 Rolls-Royce, this one features gloss pearl white paint, a heavily customised interior and a new Addictive Audio system. FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT350 - This 1965 Shelby GT350 ‘competition model’ was built by the Original Venice Crew (OVC) with a Shelby V8 and a four-speed manual transmission. FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK DRAGG - Drag Racing Against Guns and Graffiti (DRAGG) is an after-school programme in Oxnard, California. FORD FOCUS ST BTR EDITION - Blood Type Racing (BTR) was inspired to combine the lifestyle of photography, videography and motorsport when it developed this Ford Focus ST. FORD SUPER DUTY F-350 LARIAT - This F-350 was modified by Hellwig Suspension Products and is powered by a 6.8-litre V8 diesel motor. PLYMOUTH SUPERBIRD HELLCRATE - Based on a Plymouth Road Runner, this Superbird gets a 700hp, 6.2-litre supercharged Hemi ‘crate engine’. The annual Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas always has some of the best modded and upgraded vehicles on display.
