New spy images have revealed the updated TVS Apache RR 310 for the first time. It gets a new TFT instrument cluster, redesigned graphics and will come with a BS6-compliant engine.
A video that has surfaced online reveals the new graphics and the TFT display. The TFT display continues to follow the vertically-stacked layout of the outgoing model, but is now considerably wider and appears to be a lot easier to read. The left side of the handlebar also features directional switchgear that will allow you to navigate through information on the screen. It’s likely the new display will also allow smartphone connectivity, much like the SmartXonnect system seen on the new Apache RTR 200 4V.
The upcoming model appears to have a gloss-black inner fairing and a grey-black, dual-tone colour scheme; it also has a large ‘Apache’ logo at the side. Considering the recently launched Apache RTRs came with a slight dip in output figures with the switch to BS6, we could expect a drop in the Apache RR 310’s performance as well.
In terms of pricing, an increase is certain. And considering the more premium hardware on offer, it could be much higher than the Rs 8,000-10,000 increase that the Apache RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V saw. Stay tuned for more updates!
