Apache RTR 160 4V: old vs new
The new Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by the same 159.7cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, however, peak power is now 17.63hp, up from 16.02hp on the older model. Peak torque is up as well from 14.12Nm to 14.73Nm.
This 2021 model is also 2kg lighter than its predecessor, with the rear disc brake variant at 147kg and the rear drum brake variant weighing 145kg.
The rest of the bike remains unchanged – the 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V continues to feature an aggressive design that comprises an LED headlight with LED DRLs, an LED tail-light, and a single-piece seat. Hardware components are the same as well, with a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
2021 Apache RTR 160 4V: price
The new Apache RTR 160 4V will be available in three colours – Racing Red, Knight Black, and Metallic Blue. The base model, with a rear drum brake, has been priced at Rs 1.07 lakh while the one with the rear disc brake retails for Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
