Costs around Rs 2,000 less than Xpulse 200
Makes less power and torque than before
Kerb weight increases to 154kg
Hero’s road-biased Xpulse, the 200T, has finally been updated to meet BS6 emission norms. The bike now costs around Rs 19,000 more than the discontinued carburetted BS4 model. When compared to the Xpulse 200, the T costs around Rs 2,000 less.
Fuel-injection and modifications to the exhaust system have brought about a change in the power and torque figures. It now makes 18.1hp and 16.1Nm, while the older one made 18.4hp and 17.1Nm. Another significant change is the addition of an oil-cooler.
The oil-cooler and the catalytic converter in the exhaust have brought along with them a 4kg increase in weight, putting the BS6 200T’s weight at 154kg. The rest of the bike, meanwhile, appears identical to the BS4 model.
