2021 Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber: Design

The Moto Guzzi V9s are known for their unique and custom motorcycle-like appearance and this holds true for the new iterations as well.

The Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer bears subtle, yet noticeable changes, mainly in the materials used and their fit and finish, says the company. It looks like a proper Moto Guzzi, courtesy of the teardrop shaped tank, ribbed seat and wide rear fender.

The Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber, as the name suggests, bears a minimalist look and gets a brand new seat. Besides this, the aluminium side panels and mud guards are new as well. Moto Guzzi also seems to have lavished a lot of attention on the V9 Bobber, by giving it a new digital instrument cluster and full-LED light setup.

2021 Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber: Engine, chassis and electronics

Both motorcycles are powered by a new 850cc, 90-degree, V-twin that has been transversely mounted. The engine has been derived from the same engine that powers the Moto Guzzi V85 TT all-terrain motorcycle. In the V9s, this engine produces 65hp and 73Nm.

The company says that the frame is an evolution of the unit in the previous motorcycles. They've also strengthened the frame in the headstock area, for better stability. The footpegs, meanwhile, have rubber pads to dampen vibrations and improve comfort.

As far as electronics are concerned, the motorcycles get ABS and the switchable MGCT traction control as standard.
