The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure has been launched in India at Rs 3.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the price of the adventure motorcycle has gone up by Rs 7,000, it also gets a few notable updates.
To begin with, the bike gets an updated traction control system and now has two modes – Street and Off-road. The former offers normal intervention, while Off-road allows some amount of rear wheel slip before it kicks in. The updated electronics will also keep the bike in Off-road mode in case the rider stalls the bike and restarts.
KTM has also swapped the 12-spoke alloy wheels with a set of new 5-spoke alloy rims. The company claims that the new five-spoke design offers increased stiffness and better ability to handle impacts.
Rounding off the list of changes are the new colours that have been introduced. While the Dark Galvano Black looks nice, the bike looks rather fetching in the KTM Factory Racing Blue colourway.
The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure is mechanically identical to the previous motorcycle and is powered by the same 43hp, 37Nm, 373.4cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The bike has a tubular street trellis frame suspended by a non-adjustable WP USD fork and monoshock.
