The updated Suzuki Katana's instrument panel now gets a night mode feature.
Suzuki has introduced the 2022 Katana and the motorcycle features a few updates for this year.
To begin with, the Katana gets a 150hp, 999cc, inline four Euro5/BS6 engine, which is 2hp more than the Euro 4 engine in the previous bike. The engine features new intake and exhaust cams, valve springs and airbox.
Suzuki has also tweaked the electronics with a revised ride-by-wire and traction control system. The slipper clutch and instrument panel has also been updated, with the latter getting a new 'night mode'. Suzuki has also fitted a bi-directional quickshifter as standard.
The bike gets additional visual enhancements in the form of a gold front fork, red monoshock, two-tone seat and colour coordinated wheels. Rounding off the list of updates to the Suzuki Katana is the introduction of two new colours – Solid Iron Gray and Metallic Matte Stellar Blue.
While the 2022 Suzuki Katana will go on sale in international markets, there is no word about the bike making it to India.
