Auto Expo 2023: MBP M502N, C1002V showcased

Italian by origin but Chinese by ownership, MBP (Moto Bologna Passione), has showcased two products at Auto Expo 2023 – the M502N naked bike and the C1002V cruiser.

MBP M502N, C1002V showcased at Auto Expo 2023: details

The MBP M502N is powered by a liquid-cooled, 486cc, parallel-twin engine making 46.9hp at 8,500rpm and 45Nm at 6,750rpm, and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Suspension is courtesy of KYB with a preload-adjustable fork and monoshock. J.Juan supplies the twin disc brakes at the front and the single disc at the rear, which are mated to dual-channel ABS. The MBP M502N runs on cast alloy rims shod with Pirelli Angel GT tyres sized 120/70-ZR17 at the front and 160/60-ZR17 at the rear. The seat height is a manageable 790mm and the M502N weighs 198kg (dry).

Alongside the M502N naked, the company also unveiled the C1002V cruiser, which is powered by a liquid-cooled, 997cc V-Twin engine that sends power to the rear wheel via a belt final drive. It gets an aluminium alloy frame, a projector LED headlight and a 5.0-inch TFT dash. Suspension is supplied by KYB at both ends and the C1002V cruiser also gets dual-channel ABS.
