It seems that TVS isn’t the only manufacturer that has hiked the price tags for its two-wheeler offerings. Bajaj Auto has also silently increased the price for most motorcycles in its portfolio. The biggest price increment has been witnessed by its most expensive two-wheeler offering – the Dominar 400. The ABS version of the Dominar 400 has been priced at Rs 1,58,275 (an increment of Rs 2,000) while the standard Dominar 400’s price has been hiked from Rs 1,42,108 to Rs 1,44,113. Bajaj has also increased the price for the Pulsar RS 200 by Rs 1,800. The ABS variant now retails for Rs 1,36,794 and the standard version has been priced at Rs 1,24,890.
Bajaj’s popular cruiser offering, the Avenger series, has also witnessed a jump in its pricing – the Avenger 220 Street and Cruise now retail at Rs 94,464, as opposed to their launch price of Rs 93,466. The Avenger 180, on the other hand, has witnessed a price hike of Rs 1,100 and is now on sale for Rs 84,346. The Chakan-based two-wheeler giant has also increased the price for the Pulsar NS 200 by Rs 1,700. The ABS version of the bike now is on sale for Rs 1,10,714; Rs 98,714 for the standard version.
Pricing for the Bajaj V12 remains unchanged, while that of the Bajaj V15 has risen by Rs 1,000. Its new price is Rs 65,178. Bajaj had, earlier this year, launched the all-new Discover 125 for Rs 53,171 (standard) and Rs 55,994 (disc brake version), respectively. It has bumped the price of the new Discover 125 by Rs 500 for the standard version and Rs 1,000 for the disc brake variant. The Bajaj Platina Comfortec is also dearer by Rs 500 as Bajaj has hiked the price from Rs 46,656 to Rs 47,155. (All prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
