In an age where motorcycle prices are on a relentless upward climb, Bajaj has bucked the trend by slashing the price of the Dominar 250 by a significant margin.
- Now costs Rs 1.54 lakh, reduced by Rs 16,500
- Dominar 250 now costs nearly Rs 60,000 less than the Dominar 400
- This follows on the recent price reduction of the Yamaha FZ25
Barely days after yet another significant price hike across the KTM India range, the Bajaj website has been updated with a large price drop for the Dominar 250. This could be in response to an even bigger price correction that Yamaha India recently made for the FZ25, which brought its price down to the level of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
This price drop comes after numerous price increases that were announced since the Bajaj Dominar 250 was launched at Rs 1.6 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi in March 2020, which took it all the way to Rs 1.71 lakh, ex-showroom.
With its latest price of Rs 1.54 lakh, ex-showroom, the Dominar 250 now sits comfortably between the Rs 1.34 lakh FZ25 and the Rs 1.71 lakh Gixxer 250. It also makes the Dominar 250 nearly Rs 60,000 less than its bigger brother the Dominar 400 and a full Rs 74,500 more affordable than the KTM Duke 250.
The Bajaj Dominar 250 uses an engine based on the KTM 250 Duke, but with numerous changes, including a different head design. Power stands at 27hp with 23.5Nm of peak torque. The Dominar 250 is a large and spacious motorcycle with a smooth and refined power delivery - this revised price will certainly boost its appeal.
