Benelli has expanded its 500cc lineup in India with the launch of the 502C at Rs 4.98 lakh (ex-showroom).
- Available in two colours - Matte Cognac Red and Matte Black
- Same 500cc parallel-twin as Leoncino and TRK 502
- LED lighting and fully-digital instrumentation
Benelli opened pre-bookings for the 502C a few weeks ago, and has now launched the twin-cylinder power cruiser at Rs 4.98 lakh. This places it nearly Rs 30,000 above the Leoncino, and its closest rivals is the Kawasaki Vulcan S, priced at Rs 6.04 lakh.
Benelli 502C: engine
The 502C is powered by the same 500cc parallel-twin motor seen in the Leoncino and TRK 502 models in India. Output figures stand at 47.5hp and 46Nm, and drive reaches the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox and chain drive system.
Benelli 502C: design and features
In terms of styling, the 502C gets a slightly low and long power cruiser stance that seems to derive heavily from the Ducati Diavel, especially at the rear. Highlights include a beefy USD fork, exposed trellis frame and twin-barrel exhaust system. The 502C rolls on Pirelli Angel GT tyres, and gets features like an LED headlight, fully-digital instrumentation and an adjustable clutch lever.
