Benelli has begun accepting bookings for its entry-level adventure motorcycle, the TRK 251. The booking amount is set at Rs 6,000 and will be accepted online, as well as offline at the company’s dealerships.
Gets three-year unlimited kilometre warranty
Deliveries to begin in January 2022
Available in three colours
While the company has started accepting bookings for its motorcycles, it is yet to announce the price. Benelli will most likely reveal the price in the coming weeks, as it aims to begin deliveries next month. The TRK 251 appears to be identical to the model sold in international markets.
Benelli hasn’t shared any specifications of the TRK 251 and is likely to do so with the price announcement. What the company has revealed is that the bike will come with a three-year unlimited kilometre warranty and be available in three colours.
For reference, the international-spec TRK makes 25.8hp and 21.2Nm of torque. Powering the bike is the same quarter-litre motor seen on the Leoncino 250. Suspension hardware consists of a USD fork and a monoshock. The international-spec TRK 251 has a dry weight figure of 164kg, 18-litre fuel tank capacity, 800mm seat height, and 170mm of ground clearance.
Braking is handled by a 280mm single disc brake up front and a 240mm unit at the rear, and dual-channel ABS comes as standard, internationally. The model runs on 17-inch alloy wheels with road-focused tyres.
The TRK 251 is a direct rival to the KTM 250 Adventure that costs Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
