With the Indian festive season in full swing, nearly all of the six heavyweights in the Indian two-wheeler market reported a substantial increase. Here’s the detailed breakdown of each company.

Hero MotoCorp: 6,57,403 units

Dominant force Hero MotoCorp retained its grasp on the top spot with over 6.5 lakh units sold in October, a 6.60 percent increase over September 2024 (6,16,706 units). This trend continued even when compared to its own numbers from October 2023 (5,59,766 units), representing a 17.44 percent increase. Hero’s new Xtreme 125R is proving to be a popular buy in the class; further sales buoyancy also comes from its affordable, hardy and frugal 100cc commuters.
