BMW Motorrad India will launch the C 400 GT maxi-scooter on October 12. The company made the announcement via its social media handles.
Gets a 350cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 34hp, 35Nm
Has a CVT transmission
Expected to be priced around Rs 10 lakh
The BMW C 400 GT is the company’s first maxi-scooter for India. It will also be the most powerful scooter in the country, once it goes on sale. The highlight is a 350cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes 34hp and 35Nm and is paired with a CVT transmission.
Its features list includes full-LED lights, keyless ignition, USB charging, and a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The scooter also gets traction control and ride modes.
The BMW C 400 GT’s design is quite striking, thanks to its large body panels, LED lights and compact tail section. It’ll certainly stand out in the sea of scooters that dot our roads.
It is expected to be priced around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom), which will make it the most expensive scooter in India. Nevertheless, those looking for a convenient way to get around town, or head out beyond city limits, on a fast, gearless two-wheeler have a brand-new option. Stay tuned for the launch and other details of the new BMW C 400 GT.
