The Gold Star boasts a modern classic design and wears a round headlight, curved fenders and a large amount of chrome. In terms of features, BSA has equipped the Gold Star with a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 12V charging socket and a USB port. Powering the Gold Star is a 652cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine delivering 45hp at 6,500rpm and 55Nm at 4,000rpm, coupled with a five-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle is equipped with a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The Gold Star gets six colour options and prices for these will range from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.34 lakh. It will rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, which is available at a starting price of Rs 3.03 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
