Ducati has revealed that the 2021 XDiavel will go on sale in India on August 12.

Ducati XDiavel: what’s different?
While the XDiavel is based on the 2021 Ducati Diavel 1260, that recently went on sale in India, it gets a new seat and forward set pegs, in a typical cruiser motorcycle riding position. The XDiavel’s seat height, at 755mm, is lower than the Diavel 1260’s at 780mm.
The Italian two-wheeler company sells the XDiavel in a total of three variants internationally - S, Black Star and Dark, the last two being new additions. The Black Star is the most expensive variant in the United Kingdom, and it features a stealthy black and silver paint job on the large fuel tank, with a red stripe dividing the two colours. The Black Star variant also features a suede seat with red stitching.
As for the Dark variant, it’s finished in matte black and even features blacked-out treatment over most of its exposed components. The S variant, on the other hand, is similar to the previous XDiavel with silver radiator shrouds and highlights on the wheels and engine casing.
2021 Ducati XDiavel: technical details
All three variants come equipped with heavy amounts of electronics, including IMU based cornering traction control, cornering ABS and Ducati Power launch and more. Propulsion comes from a 1,262cc, L-twin liquid-cooled engine that makes 160hp and 127Nm of torque. When compared to the previous-gen model, peak power has gone up by 4hp, but the peak torque figure has dropped by around 2Nm.
2021 Ducati XDiavel: expected price
While the 2021 Ducati Diavel 1260 is priced in India from Rs 18.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India) onwards, expect the S and Black Star variants of the XDiavel to sit above it. Going by the prices in the UK, the Dark variant is set to be the most affordable. Select dealers have already begun accepting bookings for these bikes.
