Honda has launched the CB Shine Limited Edition at Rs 59,083 for the drum brake model and Rs 63,743 for the disc brake variant. This represents a minimal hike of Rs 300 over the standard bikes.
The Limited Edition CB Shine is available in two new dual-tone colour options – black with red and black with silver. The changes come in the form of a dual-tone tank and new graphics around the headlight and the side and rear panels. Interestingly, Honda’s CB Shine is the manufacturer’s highest-selling two-wheeler (second only to the Activa) and is the market leader in the 125cc segment.
The differences end there. The new motorcycle remains identical to the standard CB Shine in every other way. It uses the same 124.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 10.1hp at 7,500rpm and 10.3Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm.
Dealers in Mumbai and Delhi have told us that the bikes are expected to reach dealerships later this week, following which deliveries will commence.
