The newly launched Honda Shine 100 is now available with a 10-year warranty. The company is offering the option to extend the standard three-year warranty up to seven years, taking the total to 10 years.
At the time of launch, Honda offered the Shine 100 with a six-year warranty (3+3 years) but warranty for 10 years will always sound like music to the ears of the customer. It also shows the amount of confidence the company has in its new 100cc commuter.
On the other hand, Honda has launched the Shine 100 at a special introductory price of Rs 62,900 in the states of Rajasthan, UP and Bihar. That makes it Rs 2,000 cheaper than the Rs 64,900 price tag that was announced at the time of launch in Maharashtra. The already competitively priced Shine 100 is now even more affordable in the above mentioned states.
Honda clearly is leaving no stone unturned in trying to make its space in the 100cc commuter motorcycle market with such aggressive pricing. The bike goes up against the Hero HF Deluxe, Hero Splendor+ and the Bajaj Platina 100.
