7 Kawasaki bikes' prices hiked by up to Rs 27,000

The Kawasaki Z H2 SE has received the maximum price hike and now costs Rs 27.22 lakh.

Kawasaki has hiked prices of seven of its motorcycles in India, with the Z900’s prices increasing the least at Rs 9,000 and the Z H2 SE receiving the maximum hike at Rs 27,000. The reason for these price hikes is rising input costs for the company and its a common practice for manufacturers to hike prices in the new calendar year. 

Kawasaki bikes prices hiked: details

At Rs 9,000, the Z900 has received the smallest price hike amongst all bikes here and now costs Rs 9.02 lakh. The Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX litre-class sports-tourer has also gotten dearer by Rs 12,000, and costs Rs 12.10 lakh. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 costs Rs 5.14 lakh after a price hike of Rs 15,000.

By far the most affordable thoroughbred litre-class sportbike on the market, the ZX-10R has also had a price hike of Rs 16,000, with it now costing Rs 16.15 lakh. Next up is the Kawasaki Versys 650 that has had a price hike of Rs 18,000 and costs Rs 7.54 lakh.

The Z H2 and Z H2 SE supercharged litre-class naked bikes have also seen a revision to their prices with the former becoming more expensive by Rs 23,000 and the latter by Rs 27,000. The Z H2 is now priced at Rs 23.02 lakh while the Z H2 SE commands Rs 27.22 lakh.
