KTM has slashed prices for its 250 Adventure by nearly Rs 25,000, with the ex-showroom, Delhi price falling from Rs 2,54,995 to Rs 2,30,003.
- This is a limited period offer available till 31 August
- 250 Adventure now costs just Rs 1,276 more than the 250 Duke
- Dealers encouraged to push 200/250 Duke customers towards the 250 Adventure
A recent circular from Bajaj Auto to its KTM dealers reveals that the 250 Adventure has received a massive price cut to the tune of nearly Rs 25,000. The ex-showroom price now stands at Rs 2,30,003 in Delhi, making the Adventure just Rs 1,276 more expensive than the 250 Duke.
This is a limited period offer which kicks off today (14 July) and lasts until 31 August. It also appears that Bajaj is trying to get more customers to buy into the KTM Adventure lineup, and it even encourages dealers to push 200/250 Duke customers towards buying the 250 Adventure instead.
Perhaps Bajaj has been able to bring production costs down, or maybe the 250 Adventure isn’t seeing the sort of sales success that Bajaj anticipated. Whatever the reason for this offer, it successfully solves one of the 250 Adventure’s biggest drawbacks – its hefty price tag. It’s also in keeping with the current trend in the 250cc segment of large price cuts – the Yamaha FZ25 became nearly Rs 20,000 cheaper recently, and the Bajaj Dominar 250 also received a Rs 16,500 price cut earlier this month.
