KTM has launched the GP Editions of its RC 200 and 390 models in India, inspired by its MotoGP race bike. The RC 200 GP edition costs Rs 2.15 lakh, while the RC 390 GP Edition will set you back by Rs 3.16 lakh, which is the same as their respective standard models.
KTM RC 200, RC 390 GP Edition: details
This special edition brings a bunch of unique cosmetic touches and a MotoGP-inspired paint scheme to both the RC 200 and RC 390. The visual changes include a tinted visor, blacked-out finishes for a more aggressive design, all-black cast alloy rims and a large black KTM logo running across the layered full fairing.
The KTM RC 390 GP Edition remains mechanically identical to the recently updated RC 390, and, as such, is powered by a 43.5hp, 37Nm, 373.2cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that's mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm disc up front and a 230mm disc at the rear. Fully fueled up, the bike tips the scales at 173kg.
Similarly, the RC 200 GP Edition shares all its components with the revamped RC 200. It gets a 25hp, 19.2Nm, 199.5cc liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Braking duties are the same as the RC 390 and the bike weighs around 160kg.
All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
