New Yulu e-bike built by Bajaj: details
The new Yulu e-bike is an in-house design from Bajaj and an all-new machine compared to the earlier Chinese-origin one. The second version of the product was localised and toughened up for our environment by Bajaj, which also partly manufactured components for the e-bike. This time around, though, the Yulu e-bike has been designed from the ground up by Bajaj with our needs in mind. However, no technical details have been shared at this point.
Amit Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Yulu, said "We are very excited about the potential of our plug-and-play solutions to build green, scalable and profitable businesses around urban mobility. And so now, the ambition is to take them across the globe with the right set of partners.”
The Yulu e-bike is targeted at short intra-city commutes, last-mile deliveries and business requirements.
