Honda patents 160cc scooter in India
Honda is known for its scooters in India. In fact, its Activa model has been the undisputed leader in the segment for a while. It is about time Honda started selling higher-capacity premium scooters, and the Stylo 160 could be its first instalment in that category. The Stylo 160 is a premium, stylish two-wheeler, and is available in six colours. It has full LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, a keyless system and a USB charging port inside the centre cubby space..
The Honda Stylo 160 is powered by a 156.9cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 15.4hp at 8,500rpm and 13.8Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. It rides on a set of 12-inch wheels and features dual-channel ABS. In terms of dimensions, it is slightly longer and wider than the Activa and even the wheelbase is lengthier. If Honda launches the Stylo 160 in India, it will compete against the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero’s upcoming Xoom 160.
