We only just got our first look at the upcoming KTM RC 390 in production form, and we've now learned that dealers in various cities are already accepting bookings for not only the updated RC 390, but also the incoming RC 200.

The RC 390 is likely to get a TFT display
If the recent spy shots are enough to convince you about the bike, you can now book the new RC 390 at the nearest KTM dealer. Select dealerships are accepting unofficial bookings. Most dealers are quoting a booking amount between Rs 1,000 and Rs 5,000, with some mentioning amounts as high as Rs 10,000.
Technically, the booking will be made against the current-gen RCs, and can then be transferred to the new bikes once launched, or cancelled and refunded, if the updated bikes are not to your liking. It shouldn't be a long wait, because most dealers expect an official launch as early as July or August.
The new RC 390 is likely to finally get a TFT display, and it's quite possible that we'll see a quickshifter in the mix as well. The RC 200, meanwhile, will probably soldier on with its fully-digital LCD unit, albeit with upgraded graphics. As a result, the smaller RC won't see as much of a price hike, and will probably be priced around the Rs 2.10 to Rs 2.15 lakh mark. The RC 390, on the other hand, will get a heftier increment, possibly going up from the current Rs 2.65 lakh to around Rs 2.80 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Certain updates are expected to be common to both bikes, like an all-new design with a redesigned headlamp that’s similar to the one seen on the Dukes, a revised chassis with a bolt-on sub-frame, and new wheels and brakes.
