The Scrambler range of motorcycles are Ducati’s most accessible models and the line-up is all set to receive the biggest update since its introduction back in 2014. The next-gen model will make its debut at the EICMA trade show in November 2022.
The recently concluded World Ducati Week (WDW) offered a glimpse of this next-generation bike to visitors inside a strictly policed area where no cameras were allowed. We can expect the design language to remain familiar, while the chassis and engine may get some updates.
This current generation Ducati Scrambler has been around since 2014 and has received only incremental updates. The most notable one came in 2019 in the form of cornering ABS, a new dash allowing Bluetooth connectivity, a hydraulic clutch and new 10-spoke wheels, all plucked straight from its elder sibling, the Scrambler 1100.
Currently, there are eight Scrambler models on sale in India, offered with a choice of either an 803cc or 1,079cc mill. Prices start at Rs. 8.89 lakh for the Icon Dark and go up to Rs 15.29 lakh for the 1100 Sport Pro. Check out our recent review of the Scrambler Icon here.
All prices mentioned are ex-showroom,Delhi.
