KTM India has confirmed that it has begun rolling out a software update for its 2020 (MY2020) and 2021 (MY2021) model year 390 Adventures, to bring in riding modes that debuted on the 2022 version of the bike.
Update can be done at any authorised KTM service station
Will be a 20 minute job
KTM launched the updated 2022 390 Adventure in May at Rs 3.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The update brought new graphics, paint schemes and 5-spoke alloys, but the biggest talking point was the introduction of an updated traction control system with two new riding modes – Street and Off-road.
The company has now informed us that owners of MY2020 and MY2021 390 Adventures can now add these new riding modes to their bikes at any authorised KTM service station – it takes about 20 minutes and is free of cost.
When we reviewed the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure, the company had informed us that the riding modes could not be installed on older models, however, it’s nice to see that that has changed.
