There’s already a lot that’s known about the new Himalayan 452 including the fact that its going to get all-LED lighting, a new instrument console, a USD fork and most likely an extensive range of accessories.
The biggest talking point is the brand-new liquid-cooled, 451.65cc, single-cylinder engine that’s rated for a peak power output of 40hp at 8,000rpm. This will be RE’s first liquid-cooled mill and to hear how it sounds, tap here. Interestingly, the peak power output and the rpms its made at is the exact same as the slightly smaller Triumph Speed 400.
The top-spec Himalayan 411 retails for Rs 2.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai) and when this new 452 model is launched, expect it to be positioned near the Rs 3 lakh mark.
