Suzuki Motorcycle India has rolled out the five millionth unit of its Access 125 scooter from its Kherki Dhaula plant situated in Gurugram, Haryana. The Suzuki Access 125 was the first scooter in the 125cc segment at the time of its launch in 2007 and this latest milestone has taken around 16 years to achieve.

Commenting on the occasion, Kenichi Umeda, MD of Suzuki Motorcycle India, said, “This is a major milestone for all of us at Suzuki Motorcycle India. It reflects our commitment and customers’ confidence in our Access 125 in the domestic as well as overseas markets. Today’s Access 125 is fully equipped with convenient features developed keeping the Indian customers in mind.”
Powering the Access 125 is a 124cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.7hp and 10Nm. There are three variants of the Access on offer – Standard, Special Edition and Ride Connect Edition – and they are priced between Rs 79,400 to Rs 89,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Suzuki Access 125 rivals other 125cc commuter scooters like the Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125 and Yamaha Fascino 125.
